Leisure: Antique Markets

If you are staying in Le Marche and want to take home a souvenir with a little more originality than the usual mugs and sunhats, this could be the perfect day out for you and your family.

Street markets are held during the summer, selling everything from bric-a-brac to valuable antique pieces at reasonable prices. Throughout Le Marche there are over twenty such street fairs.

San Benedetto del Tronto: L’Antico e le Palme

Category: High quality antiquarian objects, furniture, silverware, jewellery, paintings and prints, sculptures and objets d’art, carpets and fabrics.

When: 24th - 27th June and 19th – 22nd August (evenings)

Category: Furniture, household items, paintings, jewellery, ceramics and glassware, local produce, retro/collectables, accessories, vinyl records and clothing.

When: Every Thursday in the months of July and August.

Ascoli (Piazza Roma) (Click here for map)

Number of exhibitors: 150

Category: Antique furniture, paintings, jewellery, ceramics, prints, collectibles, vintage clothing and local artisan products.

When: Third Saturday and Sunday of the month, except in July and August, when it is only on the Sunday.
